In James Joyce's Ulysses, episode 11 "Sirens" tells a dangerous but fascinating relationship between the sirens and the sailors. I applied this concept to the visual representation of perfume packaging. Pretty in its look and odor, perfume could contain dangerous ingredients. While the light background color represented surface wonderfulness, the gradient colors signify internal danger. I visualized the tonal variations of the singing sirens in this chapter through diverse typefaces.
